Finally, my first draft for the Global Issues paper is completed! I turned it in a day early so that I wouldn't have to keep worrying about it the next day at school. Some of you may have read my last post about this assignment, and know about how I made a detailed outline. I found that my detailed outline really helped me so that I didn't feel so panicked when creating the first draft. All I really had to do to my outline was make all the pieces flow well together, put it into paragraph form, and create a good introduction with a quote.
I am actually pretty confident with my paper. Going over introductions and how to quote in class really helped me out a lot. For my introduction, I put a quote and talked about how the information affects me as a member of the Catholic church. One thing people might think that doesn't apply to me is that they don't want a lot of feedback, because they think their paper is already amazing. I look getting back peer reviews so that I can fix everything that needs fixing. I could always make my paper better, and I just want the satisfaction of knowing I did a job well done and did the best I could.
Thanks for reading, Taylor
Taylor, it sounds like you worked really hard on your paper, and without much difficulty too! Your topic sounds very interesting, and I would love to read your paper when its all done. I like receiving peer comments too, just to feel completely certain that the paper is perfect.
