Surprise Party

         As many of you know, my friends and family threw me a surprise party for my golden birthday Friday. The whole grade was invited plus some people from other schools. Even though this has been planned for 3 weeks now, I had no idea and was completely surprised. I still can't believe that nobody spilled the beans! That day, I overheard people walking next to me asking what the other was going to wear and things like that, but thought nothing of it assuming they were going to dinner with friends or something.

         My parents told me that we were going to dinner at CCL for steak and lobster night. I thought it was pretty weird when my mom told me to put on my new dress I got for parties. When we got into the resteraunt at CCL, there was a big wall with huge decoration balloon things above it. My mom told me it was decoration for lobster night and that they go all out for these nights like this. I walked in first and right when I turned the corner there were no tables or waiters, but all my friends and family screaming surprise and jumping out at me. Right when they screamed surprise my favorite song came on. It was the best night ever and I couldn't believe everyone would do that for me. I felt so blessed and special.
